Kirkland Outdoor Summer Movies — Saturday, August 1, 6:00–10:00 PM, Juanita Beach Park. Free outdoor double feature showing Paddington in Peru followed by Now You See Me: Now You Don’t. Bring blankets, chairs, and a picnic.

Kirkland Wednesday Market — Wednesdays, August 5, 12, 19, and 26, 3:00–7:00 PM, Marina Park. Shop for fresh produce, baked goods, artisan products, flowers, prepared foods, and locally made items.

Kirkland Summer Concerts — Thursdays in August, 7:00–8:30 PM, Marina Park. Free evening concerts on the waterfront featuring The Hipsters on August 6, Christie Huff on August 13, and Good Day Sunshine on August 20.

Rock the Village — Wednesdays through August 19, 7:00–8:30 PM, The Village at Totem Lake. Free outdoor concerts featuring live music in the Village’s central gathering space.

International Night Market — Wednesday, August 19, 4:00–8:00 PM, Juanita Beach Park. A free multicultural celebration featuring food, cultural performances, local organizations, and community vendors.

Kirkland Urban Sunset Market and Concert Night — Thursday, August 20, 4:00–8:00 PM, 425 Urban Plaza. Free festival-style market with local vendors, food, community activities, and live rock, R&B, soul, and funk music from West Coast Feed.

Bellevue Events — August 2026

Bellevue Beats & Bites Music Series — Wednesdays and Thursdays through August 15, Downtown Bellevue. Free lunchtime performances by regional musicians at outdoor gathering spaces, with food trucks available at select locations.

Downtown Movies in the Park — Tuesdays through August 18, 7:00 PM, Bellevue Downtown Park. Free family-friendly movies with pre-show entertainment beginning at 7:00 PM and films starting at dusk.

Crossroads Movies in the Park — Thursdays, August 6, 13, 20, and 27, Crossroads Park. Free outdoor movies featuring The Emperor’s New Groove, Zootopia 2, Wicked, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Free Summer Capoeira Roda — Saturday, August 15, Bellevue Downtown Park. A free intergenerational gathering featuring Brazilian capoeira, movement, music, martial arts, and community participation.

Run/Walk for the Arts — Saturday, August 29, The Spring District. A community run and walk supporting arts programs and celebrating creativity, movement, and connection.

Kin On Seniors’ Day — Saturday, August 29, 10:00 AM–2:00 PM, Bellevue City Hall. Free community festival with live music, educational workshops, activities, and health and wellness resources for older adults and their families.

Seattle Events — August 2026

Seafair Weekend Festival — July 31–August 2, Lake Washington and Genesee Park. Seattle’s signature summer festival featuring the Boeing Seafair Air Show, hydroplane racing, live music, food, and family activities.

Lake City Summer Festival and Parade — Saturday, August 1, 10:30 AM–9:30 PM, Lake City. A free neighborhood celebration with a parade, live entertainment, vendors, food, family activities, and community programming.

Festál: A Day in Punjab — Saturday, August 1, Seattle Center Armory. Free celebration of Punjabi and Sikh culture featuring traditional music and dance, food, martial arts, turban tying, and family activities.

Umoja Fest and Africatown Heritage Parade — August 1–2, Judkins Park and Seattle’s Central District. Annual celebration of African American culture and community featuring music, food, vendors, family activities, and the Africatown Heritage Parade.

Festál: Tibet Fest — August 8–9, Seattle Center. Free cultural festival showcasing traditional and contemporary Tibetan music, dance, visual arts, food, and community traditions.

Festál: BrasilFest — Sunday, August 16, Seattle Center. Free celebration of Brazilian culture featuring live music, dance, food, capoeira, arts, and family-friendly activities.

Movies at the Mural — Fridays through August 21, dusk, Seattle Center Mural Amphitheatre. Free outdoor movies shown on a 40-foot screen; bring blankets, low-backed chairs, and a picnic.

Downtown Summer Sounds — Select dates through August 28, locations throughout Downtown Seattle. Free outdoor concert series featuring regional, national, and international musicians at parks and public gathering spaces.
